Letkajenkka

The Letkiss is a dance craze, the beginning of the 1960s in Finland under the name " Letkajenkka " was created and is based on the folk dance Jenkka. In Germany it was often danced the mid-1970s in the schools as a school sport in groups. A conspicuous feature of the dance are exported Hüpfbewegungen while dancing. As musical foundation was instrumental hit Letkiss ( 1965) by Roberto Delgado. 2001, there was a pop song Darling of the group of Letkiss, which was interpreted by the group Bella Vista with " Come give me a kiss ."

The dance is danced in 4/4-time as follows:

  • First part: all actions with the left foot
  • Part Two: repeat against same with the right foot
  • Part Three: The jumps
