Letsemeng Local Municipality

Letsemeng is a municipality in the district Xhariep, Free State Province, South Africa, based in Koffiefontein. Albert Mpatshehla is the mayor. The community name derives from Sesothowort " letsema " from. It used to be invited to a harvest other families who received food and traditional beer for their help, without further compensation. The name is symbolic of the spirit reach of community and collaboration around common goals.
