Lettering guide

Font templates are used for dimensioning and labeling in technical drawings. By default character, which comply with the standard font, a clean typeface is achieved.

They are made of transparent plastic, are stamped on the letter, numbers, and special characters. For better recognition, they are easily colored, usually orange or green. In order for the characters when drawing with the ink does not run (capillary effect), the template may not directly (plan) rest on the paper. For this they have either on the back of small knobs or top and bottom aluminum rail, or a cross-section was chosen so that the letter and number series are not touching the paper.
