Action
The series is about a former insurance investigator who has made it its mission to help people who were brought by seemingly all-powerful individuals or institutions through no fault of existential difficulties. Production
The series was first aired on December 7, 2008 on TNT. The first season consisted of thirteen episodes. After the first season had achieved good ratings, TNT ordered a second season. The second season was broadcast in two parts: The first part of the fall and the second part in the spring of the following year. TNT extended the series for good rates for a third season.
On 30 July 2010 extended TNT Leverage is a 15-part fourth season, which was later increased to 18 episodes. On August 12, 2011, the extension to a fifth season, which in turn consists of 15 episodes was made. The series finale, The Long Good - bye job, ran in the U.S. on December 25, 2012, there will follow no other squadrons.

In the U.S., the series launched on 7 December 2008 and aired until February 24, 2009 without a break. The second season was split so that the first nine episodes from 15 July to 9 September 2009 and the other six were aired from January 13 to February 17, 2010. The third season was also divided, so that the first thirteen episodes were aired from 20 June to 5 September 2010. The remaining three episodes were shown just before Christmas on 12 and 19 December 2010. On 26 June 2011, the broadcast of the first ten episodes of the fourth season, which includes a total of 18 episodes began. The other episodes were broadcast after a short summer break, late in November 2011. TNT radiates from the fifth season since 15 July 2012.

Germany
Although the free-TV channel VOX had secured the first German stations the rights of the pay- TV channels RTL Crime series beamed out first. The first season ran between 9 August and 1 November 2010. - The original English title of each sequence corresponds to the pattern " ... The Job". In each case, reference is made to the circumstances or directly to the type of fraud.
- Victor Dubenich (played by Saul Rubinek ) is the CEO of Bering Aerospace in the first episode of the first season. In addition, he is (played by Leon Rippy ) in contact with Jack Latimer.
