Leverhulme Medal (Royal Society)

The Leverhulme Medal (English Leverhulme Medal ) is an award presented by the Royal Society award for scientists who have made important contributions in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering within the Commonwealth of Nations. Since 1960, the 300th anniversary year of the founding of the Royal Society, it is awarded every three years to one or two scientists. The Leverhulme Medal is endowed with prize money of 2000 pounds sterling.
