Levi Casey (athlete)

Levi Burnside " Lee" Casey (* October 19, 1904 in Vienna, Illinois, † April 1, 1983 in Costa Mesa, California ) was an American triple jumper.

In 1928, he became the third consecutive time U.S. champion and qualified for the Olympic Games in Amsterdam. There he won with 15.17 m silver medal behind the Japanese Mikio Oda ( 15.21 m) and ahead of the Finn Vilho Tuulos ( 15.11 m).

In 1930, he won a second time the national title in 1931 he was U.S. vice- champion. His personal best of 15.18 meters, he turned up in Chicago on August 17, 1930.
