Levko Revutsky
Lyovko Mykolajowytsch Rewuzkyj (Ukrainian Левко Миколайович Ревуцький; * 8 Februarjul / February 20 1889greg in Irschawez at Poltava, .. † April 4, 1977 in Kiev ) was a Ukrainian composer.
Rewuzkyj was at the Kiev Conservatory student of Reinhold Glier. He taught there from 1924 at the musical- dramatic Institute and from 1933 at the conservatory. From 1941 to 1944 he was a music teacher in Tashkent. He composed two symphonies and two piano concertos, a tone poem and processing Ukrainian folk melodies.
