Lewis McGugan
Lewis McGugan Shay ( born October 25, 1988 in Nottingham ) is an English football player who is under contract with Watford FC since 2013.

Nottingham Forest
Lewis McGugan comes from the youth department of Nottingham Forest. In 2006, McGugan signed a professional contract with his hometown club. His career began in the 2006/2007 season in the third highest English league, the Football League One. Nottingham Forest took place at the end of season 4, but failed to qualify for the second division in the subsequent play-offs.
In the 2007/2008 season he was promoted to service providers in Nottingham. Forest took place at the end of season 2, and thus made the direct promotion to the second highest English league. Thanks to its good performance extended Nottingham his contract by a further 3 years.
Due to the rise in the last season McGugan played in the 2008 /09 season games for the first time in the Football League Championship. During the season he struggled with injury problems, but in January 2009 he was chosen in the choice of the best English players outside of the Premier League in 16th place. Its yield was hit this season with 5 goals in 33 games.
In the 2009/10 season Lewis McGugan played 19 games and scored 3 goals. Ranking third behind Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion he missed with his team in the first play-off round against the eventual promoted FC Blackpool to climb just barely. Also 2010/11 reached the well -starting the season McGugan (40 Spiele/13 goals) and his team to the play -off semi-final, but missed against Swansea City (0:0 and 1:3 ) was again the promotion to the Premier League.
Watford FC
At the end of the season 2012/ 13, McGugan decided against a contract extension in Nottingham and moved free transfer to domestic rivals FC Watford.
