Lewis Teague

Lewis Teague ( born March 8, 1938 in New York City ) is an American film director and editor.

Life and work

Lewis Teague is primarily known for the filming of two Stephen King novels in the 1980s. He began his career as a director in television, he was active as a parallel cutter. His film debut was in 1974 with Dirty O'Neil. Lewis Teague directed films of different genres. Thus arose in 1980 with the horror alligator a contribution to the genre of animal horror. In the 1990s he directed single episodes of television series such as Nash Bridges and Time Trax.
