Lexington Bridge (band)

Lexington Bridge (short LXB ) was a five-piece, British- Dutch- American pop band.

Band History

Lexington Bridge was compiled in mid-2006 as a boy group with singing and dancing from different countries or cast of the band member Dax O'Callaghan. They owe their name on one hand the Lexington Avenue in New York City. On the other hand, Bridge alludes to the various nationalities of the members. Musically, use the five singers elements of Contemporary R & B, hip-hop and pop. They became known in early 2007 with their debut single kickback.

On 12 October 2007, the second single from the album Real Man came in cooperation with the U.S. rapper Snoop Dogg on the market and on 23 November 2007, the album The Vibe.

Lexington Bridge were mainly on the European continent successfully. In Germany they gained special prominence when they played as special guests on the tour by Monrose Temptation. But even in countries such as Poland ( Top 5 ) and Bulgaria they were able to place in the charts.

In early 2008 she was diagnosed with band member Nye bulimia, so he took a break from the band to early June. In the summer he returned to a hospital stay healthy back in the band. It was followed by a Europe-wide campaign for the young fashion company New Yorker. Lexington Bridge were used as models for the Fall 2008 campaign and graced several months advertisements and posters throughout Europe.

On 24 October 2008 the third single Dance With Me was released ( in the Gold Edition ) and rose in the German charts at number 20. The single also contains the Charity Foundation remix of Go On and Go and a rock TES Version of this song, because this song was originally intended as a single, but was prevented by illness from Nye.

Lexington Bridge separated in the summer of 2010. Band members chose their own way to go. Dax got married and the others try to solo careers.
