Li County, Hunan

Li (澧县; Pinyin: lǐ Xiàn ) is the district of the city of Changde in Hunan province of China. It has an area of 2074.8 square kilometers and counts 880 002 inhabitants ( 2004).

The Neolithic Chengtoushan - site ( Chengtoushan Yizhi城 头 山 遗址), the Pengtoushan - site ( Pengtoushan Yizhi彭 头 山 遗址), the eponymous site of the Neolithic Pengtoushan culture that Bashidang - site ( Bashidang Yizhi八十 垱 遗址), also a Neolithic site of Pengtoushan culture, and the memorial arch of the Yu family ( Yujia beifang余家 碑 坊) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China.
