Li Jinyuan

Li Jinyuan (* 1945 in Chengdu) is a Chinese artist.

Only after the Cultural Revolution, during which he was in prison and re-education camp, he began in 1979 to make his painting into a career. Today, Li is a professor of Chinese painting in Chengdu.

Studies in Asia and Europe as well as international exhibitions took Li into an internationally recognized artist. He got for his paintings that describe the harmony of heaven and earth, man and nature, and numerous awards.

He is also the painter of Misereor hunger cloth 2007 " Blessed are you ...", which deals with the Beatitudes of the Sermon on the Mount.
