Li Na (fencer)

Li Na (Chinese李娜, Pinyin lǐ Nà; born March 9, 1981 in Dandong ) is a Chinese épée fencer.

Already in 2000, Li launched at the Olympic Games in Sydney, where she won with the sword team led by Liang Qin, Liu Shaoqi Yingqing and Yang the bronze medal, the third Olympic fencing medal ever for China. In single Li Na, however, was 30 at the games four years later Li participated for the second time, this time, however, both in single as ninth as a team in sixth she missed a medal. The 2006 World Fencing Championships in Turin ended for Li together with the teammates Luo Xiaojuan, Zhang Li and Zhong Weiping the gold medal after they defeated the French team in the finals.

2007 in Nantong and 2008 in Bangkok, it was Asia champion in singles.
