Li Ting (diver)

Li Ting (李 婷Chinese, Pinyin lǐ Ting; born April 1, 1987 in Guilin) ​​is a Chinese water jumper. She once took part in the Olympic Games, winning a gold medal.

In the Asian Games 2002 in Busan Li Ting won the gold medal in synchronized diving from the tower. She participated in the World Swimming Championships in 2003 partly in Barcelona, where she won gold also synchronized diving from the tower. Li took part in Athens at the 2004 Summer Olympics. They started in single and synchronous competition from the tower. In individual competition, Li Ting finished sixth with 546.48 points. Together with Lao Lishi they started in sync competition. They won with 352.14 points, the gold medal ahead of the Russians Natalia Goncharova and Julia Koltunowa ( 340.92 points) and Blythe Hartley and Emilie Heymans of Canada ( 327.78 points). In the swimming world championships in 2005 in Montreal Li Ting won the title in synchronized diving from the three- meter board. A year later at the Asian Games 2006 in Doha, she won the synchro competition also from the board.
