Li Yanfeng

Li Yanfeng (Chinese李 艳 凤/李 艳 凤, Pinyin lǐ Yanfeng; born May 15, 1979 in Qinggang, Heilongjiang Province) is a Chinese discus thrower.

At the World Athletics Championships in 1999 in Seville she left in qualifying. In 2000, she won at the Athletics Asian Championships bronze at the 2001 Universiade silver. 2002 and 2003 it was Asia Champion, again in 2003 Second at the Universiade and 2004 Ninth at the Olympic Games in Athens.

After a lengthy injury lay-off in 2007 was followed by silver at the Asian Championships. In 2008, she finished seventh in the Olympic Games in Beijing, 2010, she won gold at the Asian Games in Guangzhou.

In 2011 she presented on June 5 in Beautiful Beck with 67.98 m personal best on. As leader of the world's annual best list they traveled to the 2011 World Championships in Daegu and was 66.52 m with the first Chinese world champion in discus throw.

At the Olympic Games 2012 in London, she had to settle for the bronze medal.

Li Yanfeng is trained by the German Karl -Heinz Steinmetz, who once Lars Riedel supervised.
