Liam Miller

Liam William Peter Miller ( born February 13, 1981 in Cork) is an Irish football player. Since summer 2013 he is the Australian club Brisbane Roar under contract.

Career

From 1998 to 2004 Miller played at Celtic Glasgow in Scotland, where he also came in the Champions League action before he moved free transfer to Manchester United in July 2004. His dortiger contract ran until 30 June 2008. Nevertheless, the Irishman could not prevail in the team of Sir Alex Ferguson. Then he moved after half a year at second division Leeds United in the summer of 2006 Premier League rivals Sunderland AFC. In the second half of the season 2008/ 09 Miller, however, was loaned to the English second division side Queens Park Rangers. After thirteen league games for the " Queens", he returned to Sunderland.

In September 2009, Miller signed a two -year contract with the Scottish first division club Hibernian FC.

After two years in Scotland, he moved in June 2011 to Australia to Perth Glory. Again, after two years, he returned Glory back and moved within the A-League to Brisbane Roar.

National

For the Irish national team, he ran 21 times and scored one goal ( in the game against Sweden).
