Liang dynasty

The Liang Dynasty (Chinese梁朝, Pinyin Liang Chao, 502-557 ), the Southern under the name of Liang Dynasty ( Nan Liang南 梁) is known, was the third of Southern dynasties in China, followed by the Chen- Dynasty. The Western Liang Dynasty (西 梁Liang Xi ), who built their capital in the year 555 in Jiangling, claimed for himself to be the legitimate successor of Liang Dynasty. She was eliminated by Emperor Wen of Sui in 587. Some scholars are of the opinion that this dynasty represented a " golden era " of ancient China, and that the fall of this dynasty have seriously prevented the emergence of China as a great power. This theory is still controversial.
