Liaoyang

Liaoyang (辽阳 市) is a prefecture -level city in northeast China's Liaoning Province. It has an area of ​​4741 km ² and 1.835 million inhabitants ( 2010). 1904 Battle of Liaoyang in the Russo- Japanese War took place here, which lost the Russian army against the Japanese army. Liaoyang is an important location of northeast China's heavy industry.
