Liaoyuan
Liaoyuan (Chinese辽源 市/辽源 市, pinyin Liaoyuan shì ) is a prefecture -level city in the Chinese province of Jilin. Liaoyuan has an area of 5,125 km ² and approximately 1.25 million inhabitants ( end of 2004).
Administratively located Liaoyuan sets together at the county level from two districts and two counties. These are:
- City District Longshan (龙 山区), 257 km ², 280,000 inhabitants;
- City District Xi'an (西安 区), 172 km ², 170,000 inhabitants;
- District Dongfeng (东 丰县), 2522 km ², 410,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Dongfeng (东 丰镇);
- Circle Dongliao (东辽县), 2174 km ², 390,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Baiquan (白 泉镇).
