Libice nad Cidlinou

Libice nad Cidlinou ( German: Libitz at the Cidlina ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers south-east of Poděbrady and belongs to fulltext your real estates.

History

Libice is located on the estuary of the Cidlina into the Elbe. According to archaeological excavations, it is assumed that the end of the 8th century a castle wall was built on the two river terraces and the fort was subsequently changed several times. After 950, it served as the residence of Slavnikiden that could mint their own coins in Libice since 980.
