Libmanan, Camarines Sur
Libmanan is a Philippine municipality. It lies in the southeastern part of the island of Luzon in the Bicol region in the province of Camarines Sur about 255 kilometers southeast of Manila and about 35 km from the city Naga. The municipality is situated on the coast of the Gulf of Ragay.
It is bordered on the northeast by the municipality of Cabusao, on the southeast by parts of the municipalities of Pamplona and Canaman, on the northwest by the municipality of Sipocot, and on the southwest by the municipality of Pasacao. It is spoken Bikolano, Filipino / Tagalog and English.
A large part of the population lives on rice cultivation, but it also be grown sugar cane and corn.
Libmanan is the seat of the diocese Libmanan. A regular rail link between Manila and Libmanan, it is operated by the Philippine National Railways. The Libmanan Caves National Park was established to protect the numerous cave systems in the community.
