Libor Kozák

Libor Kozák (* May 30, 1989 in Brumov - Bylnice ) is a Czech football player. The striker plays since summer 2013 for Aston Villa.

Club career

Kozák played in his youth for the SFC Opava, in early 2007, the striker was included in the senior squad, immediately received a regular place and was able to pay back the confidence with gates. In the second half of the second division season 2006/ 07 Kozák met eight times in 15 games. This ratio could still increase the attacker in the first half of the season 2007/ 08, in 14 matches he scored ten goals.

In January 2008 Kozák was a week tested by the English first division club Portsmouth FC.

Kozák moved in July 2008 to Lazio.

Kozák debuted on May 2, 2009 at the age of 19 years at 0-2 against Inter Milan in Serie A. Before a home crowd at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, the Czech debuted three days later on May 5, as he prepares for the 66 minutes Mauro Zárate was substituted. On the final day of the 2008/ 09 Kozák first stood on the grid, Lazio defeated in Turin against Juventus 0:2.

Mid-August 2009 Kozák moved on loan to Serie B division side Brescia Calcio. In summer 2010 Kozák returned to Rome. On 18 September 2010 he scored against Fiorentina in the 67th minute decisive 2-1 victory, although he was only seven minutes earlier in to replace Tommaso Rocchi.

National

Kozak's good performance in the second league brought him to convene in the Czech U-19 selection in the fall of 2007, in his first four games of the attacker scored three goals. Since 2009 Kozák is used in the Czech U-21 national team.
