librsvg

Librsvg is a free graphics library for rasterizing Scalable Vector Graphics ( SVG). It was written as part of the GNOME project and is released under the LGPL license.

For the graphics library also includes the command-line program rsvg -convert which can convert SVG files into the vector graphics formats PDF or PostScript, or create arbitrarily large raster graphics in PNG format, specifying the desired output dimensions in pixels.

Others

For the analysis ( parsing ) of the XML syntax of SVG files, the program library libxml is used, which is also part of the GNOME project.

Since version 2.13.0 librsvg uses the graphics library Cairo as the main backend.
