Libštát

Libštát ( German: Liebstadtl ) is a municipality in Okres Semily, Liberec Region in the Czech Republic.

History

The town was first mentioned in 1322. From 1525 onward, he is referred to as a city. Libštát was part of the domain Kumburk - Úlibice. Middle of the 19th century belonged to the market town for the district Lomnitz the Bohemian circle Gitschin. During the Protectorate Libštát came to the circle Semil ( Okres Semily ) in the Upper District District Jitschin.

Currently, 1013 people live in the community.

  • House of Prayer Lutheran H. B. - The construction took place from 1781 following the Edict of Toleration Joseph II.
