Reviews

Georg Howahl which described the album for the newspaper The West, found no words of praise: " The new album after the success of ' Grosse Freiheit ' is quite similar knitted. It's a big load of sticky acoustic pathos, sometimes mixed with Rammstein guitars, and ends at the end in mourning for swaying " The Passau Neue Presse ruled: ". In sum, the Count has a bit arg deep into the pop hit Kitsch drawer used, in the form of synthesizer canned strings.. Everything flows, goes down like oil, there remains but little liable " Sebastian liver from Berlin's Tagesspiegel liked the music, but was also the texts flawed: " The 16 new songs are high-dose antidepressants, often exciting and always directly accessible. The lyrics, however, move on kitschy Poesialbumsniveau. " Stefan Fruehauf dark- festivals.de lamented the softer style of city lights compared to previous albums and put it " friends of full level, the German hit " close. Also Kevin Holtmann of plattentests.de criticized the city lights strong.
