Licia Maglietta
Licia Maglietta ( born November 16, 1954 in Naples) is an Italian actress.
Licia Maglietta initially studied architecture before she began her dance and acting career in the theater. In 1981, she joined the group Falso Movimento. In the same year she was in Othello on stage. In 1994, she played in Leonce and Lena, in 2000, Molière 's Tartuffe.
Licia Maglietta mostly worked together with theater and film director Mario Martone. In 1997, she made during the filming of Le Acrobate first experience with director Silvio Soldini. Under his direction, three years later they also turned to film Bread and Tulips. For her performance in this film, she was awarded the Italian David di Donatello as well as with a ribbon of silver Italian film criticism. In 2004, she turned with Soldini another film, Agata and the Storm.
Licia Maglietta is divorced and has two children.
