Licourt
Licourt is a commune of 393 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region of northern France. The municipality is part of the Canton of Nesle and is part of the Communauté de communes du Pays Neslois.
Geography
The community lies mostly south of Autoroute A29 at the department D35 road. The territory extends east to the Canal de la Somme.
History
The French king Louis XIV visited the place in 1654.
The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
