Lidia Chojecka

Lidia Chojecka ( born January 25, 1977 in Siedlce ) is a Polish middle and long distance runner, the most successful on the 1500 - and 3000 -meter distance.

Life

At 20, she won the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Paris in 1997 Bronze 1500 m. In 1998, she was over the same distance at the Indoor Athletics Championships in Valencia second behind the Austrian Theresia Kiesl and sixth at the European Athletics Championships in Budapest.

At the World Indoor Championships in Maebashi in 1999 she won bronze in the 1500 m and the following year over 3,000 m silver at the European Indoor Championships in Ghent Romanian Gabriela Szabo behind.
