Lien Gisolf

Lien Gisolf (actually Anna Carolina Gisolf; born July 13, 1910 in Fort de Kock, Dutch East Indies, † May 30, 1993 in Amstelveen ) was a Dutch high jumper.

In 1928 she equaled on 3 July in Brussels the world record of 1.58 meters and won at the Olympic Games in Amsterdam with 1.56 m silver medal behind Ethel Catherwood. The following year she came on 18 August in Amsterdam with 1,605 m as the first woman on the 1.60 -meter mark.

Your third world record she set with 1.62 m in Amsterdam on 12 June 1932. At the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, she finished fourth with 1.58 meters.
