Liesbeth Spies

Jantje Wilhelmina Elisabeth " Liesbeth " Spies ( born April 6, 1966 in Alphen aan den Rijn, South Holland Province ) is a Dutch politician of the Christian Democratisch Appèl (CDA ), which was a member of the Second Chamber of the States General for several years and from 2011 to 2012 Minister Interior and Overseas Territories.

Life

Study and career

After schooling Liesbeth Spies began in 1984 a study of the Science Law and Economics at the State University of Leiden and graduated from in January 1990. She then began her professional career as a consultant and project manager at Research voor Beleid BV in Leiden and the Interprovincial counseling agency Interprovinciaal Overleg was then secretary until 1998 and Head of the Project Office (IPO).
