Lieutenant Governor of Idaho

The Office of the Lieutenant Governor is the U.S. state of Idaho since the accession of the State to the Union in 1890, the lieutenant governor acts as the representative and, if necessary, as the successor of the governor.; also he stands before the state Senate as president.

Initially, the Vice- Governors completed a two-year term of office; since a change in the State Constitution the term of office is four years.
