Lifesaving at the World Games

The World Games are every four years an important event for non- Olympic sport rescue sport. The games are from the International World Games Association - aligned IWGA. Rescue Sport has been present since 1985.

World Games 2005

The 7th World Games were held from the 14th to July 24th, 2005 in Duisburg.

World Games 2009

The 8th World Games were held from 16 to 26 July 2009 at Taiwan's Kaohsiung.

World Games 2013

The 9th World Games were held from July 25 to August 4, 2013 in the Colombian Cali. With four gold and a silver medal at the German rescue athlete Marcel Meier Hasse was the most successful athlete in the World Games in 2013 and was also voted " Athlete of the Year."
