Liga IV

League IV is the fourth- highest division in the Romanian football. It was founded in 2000 and was up to and including the 2005/06 season the name Divizia D. The winners of the different seasons come into play-off against each other, the winners move up to the League III. The last- placed teams relegated to the Categoria Onoare.

The competition will be held at the county level. Before 2000, there was talk in this context of a circular Championship (Romanian: Campionat Judetean ).
