The Ligier JS39 is a Formula 1 car of the French racing team Equipe Ligier, which started the team in the 1993 Formula 1 season. Dangers was the JS39 by the British duo Martin Brundle and Mark Blundell. Brundle reached thirteen world championship points with him; Blundell ten. Construction

The JS39 corresponded largely to the specifications of the JS37, but received minor aerodynamic changes. Here, the car -oriented strongly on FW 15 Williams F1. Course of the season

At the season opener in South Africa Blundell qualified to eighth place; Brundle came in twelfth. In the race on Sunday Brundle fell after a spin on lap 57. Blundell, however, reached the podium with third place. In Brazil Brundle fell after a collision with the Minardi of Fabrizio Barbazza. Blundell collected again important world championship points 5th place.
