Lignon du Forez

The Lignon (also: Lignon du Forez or de Lignon Chalmazel ) is a river in France, in the department of the Loire, Rhône- Alpes, runs. It rises in the municipality of Jeansagnère, drained generally eastward, through the historical province of Forez and ends after 59 kilometers in the municipality of Feurs as a left tributary of the Loire.
Not to be confused with the homonymous river Lignon, which also terminates at Saint- Maurice -de- Lognon in the Loire.
