Ligsdorf

Ligsdorf (German Lüxdorf ) is a commune with 324 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in the Alsace region.

Geography

The municipality is located in the southern Ligsdorf Sundgau, at the foot of the 816 m high mountain Glaser, the highest elevation of the Alsatian Jura. From west to east the springing in the neighboring municipality angle Ill River flows underground through the municipality of Ligsdorf, of which about 500 m.

Ligsdorf is connected by road with the neighboring municipalities angle Sonderdorf, Bendorf and Ferrette. In the south, the municipality Lucelle follows, bordering Switzerland.
