Ligue internationale de la paix

The International League for Peace (also International League for Peace and International League for Peace and Freedom; French Ligue international et permanent de la paix ) was founded on 21 May 1867 by Frédéric Passy, to prevent the Franco-Prussian war in the context of the Luxembourg crisis.
