Liisa Anttila

Liisa Anttila ( born September 30, 1974 in Luopioinen, Pälkäne ) is a Finnish orienteer, ski orienteer and cross-country skier.

Career

Anttila was founded in 1993 in South Tyrol Long Distance World Champion Junior Orienteering. She also won the bronze medal in the sprint and silver in the Finnish women's relay. The following winter she was three times world champion in Rovaniemi the junior women in ski orienteering.

In 1996 she won the Finnish assets Orienteering Championships on the long and ultra long distance. In 1997 she ran her first World Cup season in Ski orienteering and was second in the overall standings with a gap of four points on the Norwegian Hilde G. Pedersen. A year later their first participation in a Ski Orienteering World Cup of assets. In the Austrian Windischgarsten she won both the titles on the long distance and with her sister Mervi Anttila and Terhi holster in the relay. About the short distance it was behind the Swedish Annika Zell and Lena Hasselström third parties. Even in the next world championships in 2000 in Krasnoyarsk, she won a medal in all three decisions: bronze in the sprint, silver in the long- distance and another Gold medal in the relay.

2001 found the Summer World Orienteering Championships held in Tampere, Finland. After the World Championships in Scotland in 1999, where she placed 23rd place on the long distance, this was her second World Championships. She went in Tampere in the sprint, over the long distance and in the relay at the start. While she was in the ninth sprint and long distance Seventh they won with Reeta -Mari Kolkkala, Marika Mikkola and Johanna Asklöf the world title in the relay. Anttila should go in sequence nor in the World Orienteering Championships 2003, 2007 and 2008 respectively on the long distance to the start, where they only tenth in 2008 ran it into the rating.

In ski orienteering, however, still followed more medals. In Sweden in 2004 it was the third time of the season and the fourth time overall World Champion in Ski orienteering. By 2011, she won four silver and seven bronze medals in Ski Orienteering World Championships. In Ski Orienteering Championships she won four silver and one bronze medal. Their only European title she won in 2008 with the squadron.

In cross-country skiing Anttila came so far (as of December 2013) to two World Cup stakes: In November 2001, she took over 10 km classic in Kuopio the 83rd place on March 3, 2012, she came to Lahti to a second application and was thereby in Skiathlon 60th in 2010 she was in Keuruu behind Riitta -Liisa Roponen Finnish runner-up in the pursuit race. In 2001, she was also in Vehkalahti Sixth at the Finnish Championships in cross-country running over 6 km.

Liisa Anttila part in orienteering clubs Hämeenlinnan Suunnistajat (until 1998), Tampere Pyrintö (1999 to 2005), Tampere Koo -Vee (2006 to 2011) and Hernemäen Porina ( since 2012 ) on.
