Lika-Senj County

The Lika- Senj [li ː ka sɛɲ ] ( kroat. Ličko - senjska županija ) is a county in northwest Croatia. It extends from the northern Adriatic Sea in the west to the border with Bosnia - Herzegovina to the east. It comprises the southern part of the Croatian Littoral ( kroat. Croatian Primorje ) around the town of Senj, the northern part of the island of Pag and the inland cities area of ​​Lika. It has a surface of 5350 km ² and 50,927 inhabitants ( 2011 census ). Council is based in Gospic.
