LÄ«ksna

Līksna ( German: Lixna, Lixten ) is a town in south-eastern Latvia.

It is located about 15 km northwest of the city of Daugavpils, near the Daugava River and the state highway A6. 2010 was the place with the surrounding community inhabitants in 1295. 1770 the building of the estate Lixna were rebuilt in the Baroque style and provided with a large park area. During the First World War, these buildings were destroyed.
