Criticism

" Realistically ironic is Gsponer to the cinematic novel written by Martin Suter, debunked pseudo-intellectual word games as pompous babble and the literary scene as a shark tank. Everyone grabs a piece of the pie, basks in the glow of the other. It celebrates and the beautiful appearance and the media play with. Publishers want fresh meat and literary women artists and no waiters. Just like in real life. Henry Hübchen shines as seedy drifter with heart-warming one- liners, his counterpart Daniel Brühl may mimic the shy scene -Darling, where the plant grows over the head. The combination of both is an absolute godsend, as well as the linking of tragicomedy, romance and theater of the absurd, the combination of great emotions and false identities. The meticulous work up to the eighth draft of the screenplay by Alexander Buresch makes itself felt in the result. The different end in the book and film should not be confused with this emotionally and fast-paced piece of cinema. "

" The cast could not be more fitting. Duration starlet Daniel Brühl has Basterds trimmed in the role of unassuming fellow who herumschlittert between appearance and reality, of Good Bye, Lenin Inglourious up to perfection. He was also the factor that four years ago, was traveling together with the Swiss director Alain Gsponer to Ibiza Martin Suter to convince themselves of the qualities of the film project -. Successfully "

" The Swiss director Alain Gsponer ( " The Real Life " ) has from the fabric of Martin Suter's novel", has created made Lila, Lila " a bestseller a film that could take it to the box office. And that would have earned: Far from the usual German television aesthetics and with fantastic lead actors ( Daniel Brühl and Hannah heart jump) he tells with admirable looseness of this story of love and lies as a smart, sharp satire on the madness of the book market, but also as entirely uncynical and uncheesy romance. A pleasure. "

" Overall," Lila, Lila " but a film, how often wishes him the German cinema. He is ashamed not for a moment for it to be entertainment - makes this goal but no grim affair of state. He shrugs not scared before his Classic Film options back, but also does not reveal its integrity for that. And above all, he acts as if he had not emerged only under existential Author labor -. Rather cheerful, just so "
