Liliana Porter

Liliana Porter ( born 1941 in Buenos Aires ) is a native of Argentina painter, graphic artist, installation and video artist. She lives and works since 1964 in New York City where she teaches since 1991 at Queens College, City University of New York.

Porter studied at the Art Academy in her hometown and at the Mexican Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Her work has been exhibited worldwide in the context of many individual and group exhibitions to an international audience; some of her work can be found in well-known museums.
