Lillebjørn Nilsen
Bjørn " Lillebjørn " Falk Nilsen ( born December 21, 1950 in Oslo) is a prominent Norwegian singer-songwriter and folk singer. He is also known as "The voice of Oslo ", as he has written since the 1970s, several well-known songs about the city. In 1987 he received the Fritt Ord Award.
Nilsen is a friend of Pete Seeger, whose song My Rainbow Race Regnbuen he translated under the title Barn av ( Children of the Rainbow ) into Norwegian. On April 26, 2012 sang over 40,000 Norwegians the song as part of a protest demonstration against Anders Behring Breivik, who had expressed as a defendant in the trial for the crimes committed by his attacks, Nilsen for a "very good example of a Marxist " and the song for " brainwashing " to keep.
