Lily Herse

Lily Herse ( born January 6, 1928 in Caen ) is a former French cyclist.

Lily Herse was the dominant French cyclist in the 1950s and 1960s. Eight times she became French champion in the road race (1956, 1958, 1959, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1965 and 1967).

In addition, it was 1955, the first recipient of the leading jerseys at the Tour Cycliste Feminin first.

Her father was the bicycle designer René Herse.
