Lim Kit Siang

Lim Kit Siang ( born February 20, 1941 Chinese林吉祥; Pinyin: Lín Jixiang ) is one of the leading opposition politicians in the DAP in Malaysia. Since 2004 he represents the constituency of Ipoh Timur in the Malaysian Parliament. Before that, he even sat from 1969 to 1999 for four different constituencies in Parliament. In July 2009, he joined the opposition coalition " Pakatan Rakyat " which is passed next to him of Anwar Ibrahim and Abdul Hadi Awang and represents the only relevant opposition force against the Barisan Nasional in Malaysia.
