Lin Yu Chun

Lin Yu Chun (Chinese林 育 群, Pinyin Lín Yǜ Qǘn; born March 9, 1986 in Taipei) is a Taiwanese singer, who in 2010 by participating in the Taiwanese talent show Super Star Avenue (One Million Star, Season 6 ) with his rendition of I Will Always Love You (originally by Dolly Parton ) in the style of Whitney Houston's cover version gained notoriety.

Biography

Lin was first voted out from the show Super Star Avenue. He became an Internet phenomenon by uploading his videos on YouTube. The video from the last part in the TV show was over 12 million clicked times. In his native Taiwan, he is also known under the name "Taiwan's Susan Boyle ". Although he did not win the talent show, he is considered the best-known candidate of Superstar Avenue.

In April 2010 he sang I Will Always Love You and Amazing Grace on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. On the same trip, he attended the TV show Lopez Tonight and sang Saving All My Love for You (also a Whitney Houston song) and Total Eclipse of the Heart (originally by Bonnie Tyler ) in a duet with William Shatner.

In the RTL show the 25 most incredible stories of the world on May 8, 2010, reported on Lin Yu Chun singing talent.

On 13 May 2010 he signed a recording contract with Sony Music Taiwan. Its advertised for July debut album It's My Time will be released in Germany on December 10, 2010.
