Lincity
LinCity -NG is a free city building game. It is a fork of LinCity with isometric graphics and a new soundscape. The handling of the game is identical and the old LinCity files can be opened with LinCity -NG. From version 2 brings LinCity -NG in addition with a water control and a simple ecosystem.
Handling
The player expanded his city by buildings, services and the development of an efficient infrastructure. Within the simulation, the factors are population, unemployment, water, ecology, food supply, goods production and transport, mining of raw materials (iron ore, steel, coal), the development of services ( in the areas of education, health, fire protection and pleasure ) and the energy supply an important role. Finance, environmental pollution and traffic must be kept in addition by the player in mind.
Numerous indicators that can be accessed with statistics or mini-map, the player to help keep track. The player has the population development as well as keep in mind the social and economic balance of his city.
It is also important that passive research using schools and universities to strengthen or maintain. For only with a rising level of technology ( TechLevel ) New Buildings can be unlocked.
The aim of the game is to carry its population using a rocket station into space. However, such a very high technological level is required for the construction.
