Linda de Vries

Linda de Vries ( born February 4, 1988 in Smilde ) is a Dutch speed skater.

De Vries debuted in January 2011 at the World Cup. It focuses on the middle and long distance, as well as the team competition. At the World Cup 2012/13 in Astana, she managed their first podium finishes. In the 1500 meter race and in the team competition she won third place respectively. At the World Cup finals in 2012/13 in Heerenveen she succeeded in the team competition, the first World Cup victory.

At the World Championships 2012 in Heerenveen, she won along with Ireen Wüst and Diane Valkenburg the gold medal in the team competition. Over 1500 meters, she was also third parties.
