Linda Fagerström

Linda Fagerström ( born March 17, 1977 in Upplands Väsby ) is a former Swedish football player. The midfielder played 97 international matches for the Swedish women's national team and has been with the selection at the 2003 World Championships World runner-up.

Career

Fagerström began her career at Hammarby IF. In 2001 she moved to Djurgården / Älvsjös, later Djurgården Damfotboll. With the club, she was Swedish National Champion in 2003 and 2004 before she finished her playing career after the 2006 season and began to work as a teacher.

Fagerström 1997 debuted in the Swedish national team. With the selection they took part in the World Championships in 1999 and 2003. They also belonged to the squad at the 2004 Olympic Games and the European Championships in 2001. In 97 international matches they scored seven goals.
