Linda Geiser

Linda Geiser ( born May 13, 1935 in Köniz near Bern ) is a Swiss actress. She is best known to TV audiences for her role of Joanna Blanc in the Swiss TV series Lüthi und Blanc, as well as the mother of Kummerbuben in the same series.

Life

At the age of 15 years her acting talent was discovered. She completed training at the Drama School of the Conservatory of Music in Bern. Teachers were both Margaret Schell of Noë and Uta Hagen. When Herbert Berghof she later took more acting classes in English.

Since 1961, Linda Geiser has lived in New York, where he founded it their own Off-Off -Broadway theater called Counterpoint. Linda Geiser also starred in numerous plays and could also participate in the U.S. in movies. For example, in " The Pawnbroker " by Sidney Lumet.
